Biography
You found Ruff đŸ
Well⊠that worked.
If youâre reading this, you just tapped your phone to my hand and ended up here.
Yes, the chip is real.
No, your phone isnât broken.
You just scanned one of the NFC implants in my hand.
Most people check their phoneâŠ
Then look at my handâŠ
Then check their phone again.
Welcome to Ruffâs little corner of the internet.
đŸ New here? I’m currently running for Georgia Pup 2026. You can read more about my platform and journey here:
Wait⊠who is Ruff?
Ruff is the chaos corgi behind ruffthe.dog.
I travel between communities around the world, especially Atlanta and London, teaching classes, building connections, and helping people discover that there is no single “right” way to be a pup.
What started as a personal journey eventually became something bigger: visibility, education, stewardship, and creating spaces where people feel welcome enough to be themselves.
The chip you scanned is just my slightly unusual way of saying hello.
Why put a chip in your hand?
Because moments should be memorable.
The implant in my hand is a tiny NFC tag. Your phone briefly powered it and it sent you to this page.
No battery.
No tracking.
No secret government puppy surveillance.
Just a tiny bit of technology and a fun conversation starter.
Every tap represents a moment of connection.
And communities are built one interaction at a time.
If we just met
Iâm glad we crossed paths.
Whether it was at an event, a bar, a dance floor, a class, or somewhere completely random, I always enjoy the small moments where strangers turn into connections.
Sometimes all it takes is a conversation.
Or a slightly unusual handshake.
One more thing
If someone asks how you got my contact infoâŠ
You already know what to tell them.
You scanned my hand. đŸ
