Biography

You met Ruff at Beefmince at The Steel Yard đŸŸ

Well hello there.

If you’re reading this, something interesting just happened.

You tapped your phone to my hand and ended up here.

Yes, the chip is real.
And yes, most people look at their phone and then back at my hand a few times before believing it.

Welcome to Ruff’s corner of the internet.

You’re probably holding your phone up to my hand right now.
That never stops being funny.

Ruff in London

Atlanta may be my home base, but London has become one of the communities that feels like a second home.

And tonight we’ve landed at Beefmince at The Steel Yard.

Beefmince is already known for its chaotic, sweaty, bear-filled dance floors — but when it takes over the Steel Yard, everything gets bigger.

Bigger room.
Bigger sound system.
Bigger crowd.

Harnesses, pups, bears, and dancers all packed into a warehouse club with lasers cutting through the dark and bass you can feel in your chest.

Which makes it a pretty perfect place to meet someone with a microchip in his hand.

A very Beefmince at the Steel Yard moment

If you’ve been here before, you know exactly when it happens.

The room fills.
The bass starts rumbling.
The DJ builds the track.

Then the drop hits.

Suddenly the entire dance floor jumps at the same time.

Hands go up.
People are shouting the lyrics.
Someone is absolutely dancing on something they shouldn’t be standing on.

At that point the room is loud, sweaty, chaotic, and completely alive.

Scanning a microchip in someone’s hand honestly feels pretty normal by comparison.

So why does my hand scan?

Because meeting someone should be memorable.

You just scanned one of the NFC implants in my hand. Your phone briefly powered the chip and it sent you here.

No batteries.
No tracking.
Just a tiny piece of tech and a fun way to connect.

It’s also a pretty effective way to make sure people remember meeting Ruff.

If you met me here tonight, there’s a good chance I’m:

  • on the dance floor
  • somewhere near the speakers enjoying the bass
  • wandering around meeting people
  • or letting people scan my hand just to watch their reaction

If we met tonight

I’m really glad you said hello.

London nights like this have a way of turning random encounters into lasting friendships — especially when everyone in the room is riding the same wave of music and energy.

Moments like this are part of that.

One last thing

If you see me again somewhere in London, come say hi.

You might spot me at the Eagle, Collared, the Welly, the RVT, or somewhere else in the city with the same chaotic pup energy.

And if someone asks how you got my contact info tonight

You already know what to tell them.

You scanned Ruff. đŸŸ

Next time you see me here, tap again.

The chip still works. đŸŸ

Tap complete. Ruff recognized. đŸŸ
