Ruff at Furry Weekend Atlanta

FWA is one of my favorite weekends of the year.

Thousands of furries from around the world show up in Atlanta for a few days of art, community, costumes, parties, and a whole lot of chaos in the best possible way.

If we met here, chances are we crossed paths somewhere like:

• the dealer’s den
• a hallway full of fursuiters
• a late night party
• the convention lobby
• or somewhere completely random

That’s kind of the magic of FWA.

So why does my hand scan?

Because meeting someone should be memorable.

The chip you scanned is a tiny NFC implant. Your phone briefly powered it and it sent you to this page.

No batteries.
No tracking.
Just a little bit of technology and a fun way to say hello.

And honestly, it’s a pretty good conversation starter.

One of the best parts of conventions like FWA is how easy it is to meet people you never would have crossed paths with otherwise.
