Biography
You met Ruff at Pup Night đŸ
If youâre reading this, something fun just happened.
You tapped your phone to my hand and now youâre here.
Yes, the chip is real.
And yes, that moment where people look back and forth between my hand and their phone never gets old.
Welcome to Pup Night at The Heretic in Atlanta.
đŸ I’m currently running for Georgia Pup 2026.
Learn more about my platform and journey:
What is Pup Night?
Pup Night at the Heretic is one of Atlantaâs regular gathering spots for the pup community.
Itâs a night where pups, handlers, curious newcomers, and friends come together to socialize, dance, and enjoy being a little playful in public.
Youâll usually see:
- pups in full gear
- pups just wearing a hood or collar
- handlers and friends hanging out
- plenty of tail wags and chaos energy on the dance floor
Itâs part bar night, part community meetup, and part playground for the pup side of ourselves.
If you scanned my hand tonight, you definitely found the chaos corgi.
Who is Ruff?
Ruff is the chaos corgi behind ruffthe.dog.
Part pup, part traveler, part educator, and part curious human who enjoys blurring the line between technology, identity, and connection.
Youâll usually find me:
- at pup events around Atlanta
- traveling between communities like London, Montreal, and Sydney
- teaching classes about kink safety, rope, electro play, and pup culture
- mentoring newcomers and encouraging community involvement
- building slightly weird tech experiments like the one you just experienced
One of the things I love most about Pup Night is that there is room for everyone.
Some people are attending their first event.
Some people have been in the community for years.
Both belong here.
Why the chip?
Because you’re never going to forget meeting someone whose contact info lives in their hand.
The chip you scanned is an NFC implant. Your phone briefly powered it, and it sent you here.
No battery.
No tracking.
No secret pup operating system.
Just a tiny piece of tech and a very effective conversation starter.
Every tap represents a moment of connection.
And communities are built one interaction at a time.
One more thing
If you see me around Pup Night again, come say hi.
Atlantaâs pup community is welcoming, playful, and always growing. Whether tonight is your first event or your fiftieth, you’re part of the pack now.
And if someone asks how you got my info tonight, you already know what to tell them.
“I scanned his hand.” đŸ
