Biography

You met Ruff at Bearracuda đŸ»đŸŸ

If you’re reading this, something fun just happened.

You tapped your phone to my hand and now you’re here.

Yes, the chip is real.

And yes, that moment where people look back and forth between my hand and their phone never gets old.

Welcome to Bearracuda at The Heretic in Atlanta.

What is Bearracuda?

Bearracuda is one of the biggest bear dance parties in the world, and when it comes to Atlanta it turns the Heretic into a packed, sweaty, high-energy dance floor.

Bears, cubs, pups, admirers, and plenty of friends show up ready to dance.

You’ll usually see:

  • a packed dance floor
  • bears and cubs everywhere
  • plenty of harnesses and gear
  • the occasional wandering pup
  • and a lot of big energy

It’s loud, it’s fun, and it’s one of the nights where the whole community comes out.

If you scanned my hand tonight, you probably found the chaos corgi somewhere in the crowd.

Who is Ruff?

Ruff is the chaos corgi behind ruffthe.dog.

Part pup, part traveler, part curious human who enjoys blurring the line between technology, identity, and connection.

You’ll usually find me:

  • at pup events around Atlanta
  • roaming dance floors like Bearracuda
  • traveling between communities like London, Montreal, and Sydney
  • teaching classes about kink safety, rope, electro play, and pup culture
  • building slightly weird tech experiments like the one you just experienced

Why the chip?

Because you’re never going to forget meeting someone whose contact info lives in their hand.

The chip you scanned is an NFC implant. Your phone briefly powered it, and it sent you here.

No battery.
No tracking.
Just a tiny piece of tech and a very effective conversation starter.

One more thing

If you see me around the dance floor again, come say hi.

Bearracuda nights are all about music, movement, and community. If you’re here, you’re already part of the moment.

And if someone asks how you got my info tonight, you already know what to tell them.

“I scanned his hand.” đŸŸ
